Montepulciano D’Abruzzo reds fall into two categories. A medium to heavy bodied, ready to drink wine or a wine loaded with fruit and spice supported by great austere tannins.
The Rasicci Montepulciano D’Abruzzo 2012 is the latter, expressing classic Abruzzo fruit flavours of cherry and briary blackberry, subtle smoky oak with a hint of licorice.
Vinified using natural indigenous yeasts, unclarified and unfiltered .
A wine with gorgeous mouthfeel ,beautiful balance, drinking well now, but will develop and blossom into an exceptional memorable wine in years to come.
THIS NATURAL WINE IS MADE USING ORGANIC PROCESSES AND HAS MUCH LESS SULPHUR THAN IN ORGANIC WINES. IT IS ALSO SUITABLE FOR VEGAN AS IT DOES NOT COME IN CONTACT WITH ANY ANIMAL PRODUCTS OR COMPOST. This is not certified Organic or Vegan
